πŸ“Ά How to Connect to WiFi:

Scroll to the right until you see Tools, click on Tools and a dropdown menu will appear. Click on the first button, which is named Wifi. Afterwards, a settings page appears. The third option down says Connections β€” that's where your wifi connection should appear.

Account Setup

Connect your Real-Debrid and Trakt TV accounts to unlock premium streaming and sync your watch history across devices.

⚠️ Important Disclaimer

After system updates, you may need to re-authorize your accounts. If your Real-Debrid or Trakt TV connections stop working after an update, simply follow the setup steps below again to restore your accounts.

βœ… Real-Debrid Setup

  1. From the Kodi home screen, scroll right to Tools and click on it.
  2. Scroll down and select Account Manager.
  3. In the first section called "Accounts", select Real-Debrid.
  4. ⚠️ Make sure you select Real-Debrid β€” not AllDebrid.
  5. Click on Authorize.
  6. A code will appear on screen.
  7. On your phone or computer, go to:
    πŸ‘‰ https://real-debrid.com/device
  8. Enter the code and confirm.
  9. Once linked, Kodi will notify you that Real-Debrid is active.

βœ… Trakt TV Setup

  1. Still inside Account Manager, scroll to Trakt TV and click Authorize.
  2. A dialog will appear asking you to select add-ons.
    βœ… Check both Umbrella and TMDb Helper.
  3. Click OK.
  4. You'll see another dialog asking to keep your changes β€” click Yes.
  5. Kodi will display a Trakt activation code.
  6. On your phone or computer, go to:
    πŸ‘‰ https://trakt.tv/activate
  7. Sign in to your Trakt account and enter the code.
  8. Once completed, Kodi will confirm Trakt has been successfully linked.

Both accounts are now connected. Enjoy smoother streaming and synced watch history!

Operating System Update

Keep your Chainlabs system up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.

πŸ› οΈ Updating Operating System

To update your Chainlabs system:

  1. On the main screen, scroll right and click on "Tools".
  2. Scroll down and click "Update Operating System"
    ❗ (Not to be confused with "Update Programs" β€” that is for individual add-ons.)
  3. Inside "Update Operating System", you'll see three options:
    • 1. Chainlab BuildX Checker – Checks if you're on the latest version. A status message appears in the lower right.
    • 2. Chainlab Downloader – Downloads the newest Chainlabs operating system build.
    • 3. {Install} Chainlabs – Applies the downloaded update.

βœ… Steps to update properly:

  1. First, run BuildX Checker to verify if an update is needed.
  2. If an update is available, run Downloader and wait for it to complete.
  3. Once done, go to {Install} Chainlabs, click on My_builds > Chainlab.zip, and start the update.
  4. Let the process run its course.
  5. When prompted to force-close Kodi, do so manually and restart your device.
πŸ“Œ IMPORTANT:
After updating, please reopen the Account Manager and reconnect your Trakt and Real Debrid accounts.

Update Programs & Add-ons

Keep all your add-ons and provider applications up-to-date with the latest versions and features.

πŸ”„ Updating Programs

To update all add-ons and provider applications:

  1. From the main screen, scroll right and click on "Tools".
  2. Then click on "Update Programs".
  3. βš™οΈ This action will force-check all installed add-ons and provider apps, making sure you're running the latest versions available.
  4. βœ… Updates happen in the background, and no input is needed. If any add-on fails to update, a notice will appear β€” simply restart your device and the system will try again automatically.

🧰 Stuck on "Waiting for PVR" on Chainlabs splash screen?

If your screen gets stuck showing "Waiting for PVR", just press the Back button on your remote.

πŸ”Ή This issue is rare, but harmless.

πŸ› οΈ Why does this happen?

After a major operating system update, changes to the system environment can briefly delay the PVR loading process.

Also:
If you recently made changes and now experience bugs or missing functionality, simply re-download and install the latest Chainlabs build to restore everything.

If reinstalling the OS, don't forget to go to Account Manager and reconnect your Trakt and Real Debrid accounts after the update.

Live TV Help

Having trouble with your TV Manager stuck at "Waiting for 0%" or not seeing any guide data? Here's how to fix it:

Step 1:

Scroll right to Tools, click it, then scroll down to "Live TV Help" β€” and click it.

Step 2:

Click on "IPTV Enable Script". This will restart any necessary TV-related apps or services.

Step 3:

Go back and click on "Run Merge" β€” let it complete fully.

Step 4:

After the merge is complete, restart your device.

Your TV guide and channels should now be restored.
